What
types of fundraisers do you offer?
- "Brochure Fundraising"
is the process of soliciting orders from family, friends, neighbors
and people at work using a color brochure and attached order form.
This type of program has no up front costs- everything is free.
Orders and monies are collected at the time of the sale. For more
comprehensive information on this type of program, please visit
our "Brochure Fundraising"
page.
- "Direct Sale"
Fundraising is simply a phrase we use to describe a fundraiser
where merchandise is purchased in advance and then sold directly
to the customer. Direct sale products are candy bars, calendars,
costume jewelry, etc. This type of fundraiser is great for raising
quick money in a short amount of time. It works well at sporting
events, office sales, cafeterias, etc. For a more comprehensive
listing of our direct sale products, please visit our Fundraising
Superstore.
- "Virtual Fundraising".
This is a soon to be released program from the fundraisingzone.com
that will allow you and your school or group to raise additional
money by sending out custom-designed emails to friends and family
all across the country. This program offers a wide variety of
benefits, which we will offer to you soon. If you want to know
more and would like information as soon as it's available then

Which
type of fundraising program is right for my school or group?
There is no set rule for
which type of fundraiser you should run for your school, team or organization.
We offer a variety of both Brochure and Direct Sale fundraising programs
and that decision is often predicated on a number of things which
include: the amount of money being raised, time of year, number of
participants, local economic conditions and what kind of products
you think will sell well in your community.
What
advice can you offer me?
The fundraisingzone.com
(a Tracy Hamilton Inc. Company) has been in the fundraising business
since 1966 and we learned a lot in that time. The most important
element of any fundraiser is having clear goals, both financial
and organizational. We suggest that you do your "homework" and find
the best fundraising program you can with a vendor that will support
you before, during and after the event. We suggest you read our
Expert Advise section for a few
additional hints and ideas.
What
about our profits, I hear a lot of different things?
There are literally hundreds,
perhaps thousands of distributors offering a huge selection of different
products, brochures, ideas and programs to people like you who are
looking to raise money for your cause. These vendors offer anywhere
from 5% profits to 90% profits depending on the type of approach.
How do you decide? Well, that is up to you. Our suggestion is that
you base your decision on how you think you can sell a program.
The fact is, that if you have a program that offers you, let's say
50% profit and you only sell $1,000 worth and you have another program
that offers you only 30% profit but you sell $5,000 worth, you wind
up earning three times as much. The choice is clear.
Generally, most groups
earn the money they need by either running a "Brochure" fundraiser
or a "Direct Sale" fundraiser and the other types of programs available
make up the difference. If you have questions about the other types
of programs you might come across please feel free to contact us
to discuss it, we'd be happy to assist you.
Can
I personally make money working with your company?
The fundraisingzone.com
offers opportunity-minded people like you the chance to earn money
at home with our "Rep Program".
You can earn from 8%
commissions on all "Brochure
Fundraising" orders that you can generate within your community.
If for instance you show
one of our brochures to a local PTA and they wind up ordering $12,500
worth of product, then you will earn a $625 commission check.
