Perhaps you might want to try this competitive cheerleader fundraising idea from Georgia. After all everyone likes to go out and eat, right?
So, here is a story on this cheer fundraiser.
The Cedartown Competition Cheer squad wanted to celebrate the Lady Bulldogs success this year. So they held a competitive cheer fundraising event at the Huddle House at 115 East Ave, Cedartown to celebrate the the runner up cheer squad from 5 to 9 p.m. on Dec. 4.
Twenty percent of all the bills that night will go to the cheer team. This will help them pay for their end-of-year banquet and awards program.
How did this cheer fundraiser come together?
Would you believe the owner at Huddle House approached them with the idea?
Apparently, the cheer team must have gone to the restaurant in the past and developed a good relationship with the staff.
Get to know local business owners in your neighborhood. You might be surprised at their willingness to help you.
That raises a question then…
Why would local businesses want to support your competitive cheerleading fundraiser?
Notice the reasoning behind this Georgia Huddle House owners thinking.
“Her hopes are that in an effort to attract more customers, her squad and Cedartown High School Bulldog mascot Mac will drum up business from local fans outside the restaurant during the December event.”
It comes down to this.

PLUS there were no upfront costs to the cheer squadron.
